2008 LEAF, & BRUSH  PICK-UP:

Trucks will be available in May and October, 2008 for leaves and brush only. The Highway Dept. will begin taking truck reservations (October dates to be determined) which will be on a first-come, first-served basis. In the event a truck becomes unavailable due to mechanical failure, the last reservation made will be the first cancelled.  Please call the Highway Dept. at 885-8502 Ext.#23.

County Waste Haulers will pick up leaves and brush for Town residents on the regularly scheduled garbage pick-up day. Leaves must be in biodegradable brown paper bags and brush must be cut in 4 ft. lengths and bundled.

 

Our Town in Bloom program is sponsored by the BHBL Rotary. Funding for this program comes from donations by residents and businesses. All labor is volunteer and watering is provided by the Town of Ballston. If you enjoy the flowers and would like to contribute, please send a donation To BHBL Rotary TIB, PMB 146, 360 Saratoga Road, Burnt Hills, NY 12027. Any amount is greatly appreciated. If you have an hour and would like to help with keeping the gardens lovely, we meet at the Town of Ballston library at 9 AM on Fridays (tidy Friday) between July 4th and labor day.
